A CTEH Software Engineering Intern will perform a variety of administrative and technical support and assist in the areas of IT Related tasks under the guidance of our experienced IT Professionals. Job Type: Temporary/Part Time Salary Range: $16-$20 per hour (commensurate with experience) ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE Work closely with the Director of Software Engineering to help the team accomplish organizational goals. Work under the direction of a Senior Engineer to assist with active software development projects. Apply standard software development concepts and practices, such as agile, standup, git, on a daily basis to ensure quality of work performed. Perform such other duties as are assigned. OTHER DESIRED COMPETENCIES Ability to work overtime on occasion; Ability to maintain confidentiality and the highest degree of professionalism; Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines; Possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with significant amount of information; Ability to remain calm when dealing with imperfect information and ambiguity; Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions; Possesses strong computer skills in a Windows-based environment and strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; and, Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Technology, Information Technology, , or other related science. Advanced computer skills in a Linux-based platform is a must.
